personal space

I was drawing with complete concentration, sketchbook in hand holding the paper down against the wind, and before I knew it, the compartment had emptied out. For those not familiar with the Kurla Station and its mad rush-

Self massages are no fun. This sequence works backwards also. Very little exaggeration.

Heat makes the pain go away,
but the heat is never here to stay.

TRUNKATED

My graduate film from Sheridan College, 7-8 months in the making. I finally decided to post it. So much hard work, lots of fun and many many dear memories.
Trunkated is a film set in a surreal world of floating elephants and motherships. It follows the story of one such elephant that falls down onto unfamiliar land, and his journey back where he belongs.

Goat Blues

The whole point of a 24 hour film, is that it be finished in 24 hours- a new concept, from start to finish, just to get that rusty tired mind doing something new and hopefully exciting, and be done with it within the stipulated period of time. HOWEVER, I got a little carried away with mine, and my conditions were very suitable to allow me to work on this piece leisurely.

This is how it started off:

I stole Eddie's deer designs and placed them on this unhappy octopus.

The deer turned to mountain goats (such fascinating creatures), and then this happened:

As always, lots of fun to work on, drawing goats and all :)

For the 24 hour film fest- officially I should be done, but I run on Indian Standard Time :D

singing out of tune

Sometimes when I get bored
The TV is switched on in the background,
And the pencil keeps moving.

Lets go to the zoo said I

Unfortunately, out of the few animals present, most were taking the post lunch afternoon nap. It was cool however, to be biking again, even if only for a couple of hours, coming across many many couples ( lovers) in crevices and corners.
Lunch consisted of extremely sweet tea and veg. puff. Can't complain.

The hippo graced us with movement, as it rose up from under the murky waters, turned its back towards us, and pooped, fanning the excrement with its tail as it exited the body.
